Flip-flops and SandalsFinally, you can now purchase flip-flops, (more commonly known as thongs for your feet in Australia), and sandals which provide the feet with a greater degree of support than just your plain old flip flops. Previously, the only sandals which offered some degree of arch support were the Birkenstock sandals. Unfortunately, this was all shoe companies offered consumers until NOW! NEWS FLASH... I tried the thongs out myself and I know one thing is certain - I will never go back to wearing normal flat thongs again. These sandals are so much more comfortable than your normal flip flops which generally have no arch support. The arch support is what makes them so comfortable.
