Help... possible broken toe
I was training my heifer for the fair and I had steel toe boots on. She stepped on my pinky toe where the steel ended. It hurts to walk and drive. My toe is red and swollen but not bruised. When I touch it, the only part that hurts is my first knuckle. What's wrong?
This may well be broken. See your Podiatrist or family doctor so that it can be assessed properly. An x-ray may be needed. It is important to ensure correct toe alignment is maintained during healing to prevent future foot problems.
