I dropped a heavy object on my pinky toe. It's swollen and has a bruise ring around it from the point of impact to around the toe. I can move it slightly, but even slight pressure on it is painful. Is it broken?
A broken toe is likely considering the trauma you have experienced. To be sure you would need an x-ray. It is important that the toe is correctly aligned during the healing process. This is where a Podiatrist can advise you on appropriate splinting or taping.
