My daughter was playing with a plate that was on the couch from my lunch. It was going to fall, which would land on her, and I moved my leg to cut it off from hitting her. It ended up landing on my big toe, right above my nail. I was in so much pain right away, all I could do is hold my foot. It swelled up after a couple minutes to over half the size. This morning, it is numb, I can't feel anything at the end of the toe, and it feels pretty stiff, but I can move it. It is still somewhat swelled up, and it only hurts when I put shoes on or something touches it (my daughters fingers or water). Could this be a fracture, or is my foot just healing from the damage?
